Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms. By purchasing or using CastLock, you agree to these terms.
2. License. Your purchase grants a single-user license to install and use CastLock on your own Mac. You may not share, redistribute, resell, or reproduce CastLock, in whole or in part, without ThoughtFold Studio's explicit written consent.
3. How CastLock Works. CastLock helps you keep AI-generated characters visually consistent by compiling structured prompts from the character details you provide. CastLock does not connect to, call, or proxy any AI service — you copy the compiled prompt and paste it into Gemini or ChatGPT yourself, in your own browser, using your own account. CastLock is not affiliated with Google or OpenAI. Your use of Gemini and ChatGPT is governed entirely by their own terms of service, and ThoughtFold Studio has no control over, and no responsibility for, their availability, output, or your account status with them.
4. Intellectual Property. All content, systems, and code in CastLock remain the intellectual property of ThoughtFold Studio. Images you generate using third-party AI tools, and characters or creative works you build with CastLock, remain yours.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties. CastLock is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. ThoughtFold Studio does not guarantee specific creative, business, or output-quality outcomes from using CastLock or any third-party AI tool it helps you work with.
6. Limitation of Liability. ThoughtFold Studio's total liability under these terms, for any claim, is limited to the amount you paid for CastLock. ThoughtFold Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of CastLock or of any third-party AI tool.
7. Support. We offer support for installing and using CastLock. We don't provide personalized consulting, custom builds, or troubleshooting for third-party AI tools themselves. Contact david@thoughtfold.app.
Privacy Policy
ThoughtFold Studio respects your privacy. CastLock is a Mac desktop application that runs locally on your computer — the characters, images, and reference materials you create in CastLock stay on your own Mac and are never uploaded to ThoughtFold Studio's servers. CastLock does not collect analytics, telemetry, or usage data.
CastLock does not connect to, call, or transmit data to any AI service on your behalf. You copy the compiled prompt yourself and paste it into Gemini or ChatGPT under your own account — your use of those tools is governed entirely by their own privacy policies, separate from this one.
The only personal information ThoughtFold Studio collects is what's required to process your order and deliver your download: your name and email address. We use Whop.com as our payment processor and merchant of record, and we do not store or have access to your credit card information.

Refund Policy
Because CastLock is a digital download, all sales are final. Once your purchase is complete and your download link and license key have been issued, the purchase cannot be undone or "returned."
We don't offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations after a download link has been generated. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree that you're waiving your right to a refund for this digital product.

End-User License Agreement
This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and ThoughtFold Studio governing your use of CastLock, a macOS desktop application (the "Software").
1. License Grant. ThoughtFold Studio grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-user license to download, install, and use the Software in accordance with this Agreement.
2. Restrictions. You agree not to, and will not permit others to: (a) license, sell, rent, lease, assign, distribute, transmit, host, outsource, disclose, or otherwise commercially exploit the Software; (b) modify, create derivative works of, disassemble, decrypt, reverse compile, or reverse engineer any part of the Software.
3. Third-Party AI Services. The Software does not connect to, call, or transmit data to any AI service. It compiles prompts for you to use, at your own discretion, with Gemini, ChatGPT, or similar tools of your choosing, under their own separate terms. ThoughtFold Studio has no involvement in, and disclaims all responsibility for, any content those services generate.
4. Intellectual Property. The Software — including all copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and other intellectual property rights in it — is and remains the sole property of ThoughtFold Studio.
5. License Key. Your purchase is fulfilled through Whop, which automatically issues a license key as your proof of purchase. You don't need to enter this key anywhere in the app — CastLock doesn't check or validate it. Keep it for your own records.
6. Updates. ThoughtFold Studio may, from time to time, provide updates, bug fixes, or improvements to the Software.
7. Limitation of Liability. Notwithstanding any damages you might incur, ThoughtFold Studio's entire liability under this Agreement, and your exclusive remedy, is limited to the amount you paid for the Software. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThoughtFold Studio is not liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Software.
